R.W.Bro. Michel M. Hodgson District Deputy Grand Master of Brant Masonic District Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario

Michel was born in London, Ontario.  Then he has lived in Brantford, Ontario, Red Deer, Alberta, Brookfield, N.S. and then settled down in Brantford, Ontario in 1985.  Michel has a brother, sister and three step brothers, that all live in Brantford.

Michel is a proud member of Reba Lodge No. 515 in Paris, where he served as Worshipful Master in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and Secretary from 2009 until 2012.  He is also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and is part of the cast of the 17th Degree that the Brantford Scottish Rite Association performs performs at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Hamilton each spring.

He attended elementary school in London and Brantford and high school in Brookfield, N.S. and later in Brantford.  He furthered his education later in life at Mohawk College and Brock University.

Michel has two daughters; the older of the two is married and lives in London with his three grandchildren.  The youngest is active in skating, piano, and rep. soccer all year round.

During his terms as Worshipful Master from 2015 to 2017, he was fortunate to be involved with different district committees and served as a Chairman on most of them.  He was President of the Masters', Past Masters' and Wardens' Association for Brant District in 2015.

In his spare time, you can find Michel in his backyard BBQing (smoking), doing yard work and in the garage where various woodworking projects get some attention when time permits.

Hanging with family and friends is a favourite past time.
